McDonald's, Yum Brands, and now Chipotle are on the list of restaurant brands investing in tech companies. According to Chipotle's CTO Curt Garner, the chain is "always seeking opportunities that provide innovative solutions for increasing access and convenience for [its] guests," which is evident in its recent contribution to driverless delivery startup Nuro's Series C funding.

What does this mean? Chipotle's Burrito Bowls may get to experience a drive in a cool autonomous vehicle before we do! It might also help reduce expensive delivery fees - definitely something to look forward to.
